Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to secondary students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Deliver individualised tutoring sessions based on students' learning needs
* Develop and implement personalised learning plans
* Monitor and assess student progress regularly
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
* Strong understanding of SEN principles and best practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
* Organisational and time-management skills
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs (optional)
* Experience using assistive technology in teaching (optional)
