As a result, alongside several consortium partners, Balfour Beatty has been selected by BP (British Petroleum) to construct a first-of-a-kind fully integrated gas-fired power station with carbon capture and storage, which is a key driving force behind plans to make Teesside the UK’s first decarbonised industrial cluster.
Balfour Beatty is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Reporting Lead to contribute to the Net Zero Teesside project based at our new site in Redcar on Teesside.
The Project Reporting Lead will report to the Projects Controls Manager and will be responsible for producing all weekly and monthly reporting requirements as defined by the customer and Balfour Beatty business management system.
What you’ll be doing
* Production of meaningful and coherent reports suitable for Project Management use at customer and executive/steering committee level.
* Production of high quality static and interactive reports and dashboards.
* Production of written reports.
* Production of PowerBI dashboards including quality assurance of source data.
* Lead a small team of reporting coordinators.
* Act in the best interests of the Project in all dealings with client, suppliers, workforce, and the public.
* Understand the contract requirements and the opportunities and risks therein.
Who we’re looking for
* Technically proficient with a good understanding of how to build a comprehensive suite of project reports using a combination of data, graphics, and narrative.
* Experience with managing and preparing multiple data sets.
* Previous experience in project performance reporting.
