The successful candidate will ideally have an operational background working within healthcare and have the ability to communicate effectively with staff and patients. They should demonstrate strong leadership skills, positivity, resilience, and enthusiasm. A proven track record in delivering service improvements would be advantageous, and a passion to improve patient care is essential. Working closely with the Performance & Operations Manager and clinical and administrative teams to ensure capacity is fully and flexibly utilised to treat patients, ensuring both clinical requirements and Trust service objectives are achieved.
Main duties of the job
* Work closely with the Performance & Operations Manager and clinical and administrative teams to ensure Inpatient capacity is fully and flexibly utilised to treat patients.
* Work closely with the Performance & Operations Manager and Admissions booking team to ensure the best practice booking of patients is maintained at all times.
* Ensure Trust Health Records Policies and Procedures are implemented.
* Undertake investigations into patient complaints relating to the patient administration, leading on implementing more effective systems and/or adapting training as directed by the Performance and Operations Manager.
* Manage the workload across the team to ensure everyone is supported adequately at all times.
* Chair regular team meetings, producing agenda, minutes, and taking forward suggested actions and improvements.
* Maximise utilisation and efficiency of theatre lists by working with all staff groups.

* Excellent organisational and administrative skills with a high level of accuracy.
* Ability to quickly understand complex concepts and prioritise accordingly.
* Ability to use Microsoft Office or evidence of training in MS Office applications.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal colleagues & external clients.

Qualifications and Training
