7.5t multi drop driver

Job description


Role: 7.5 tonne driver
Schedule: 5 out of 7 days, including weekends.
Location: Croydon
Hours: Start time 6am.
Pay: £18.17 per hour / Overtime Pay: £25.28 per hour
Contract: Temp to Perm contract

We are seeking a skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials in a timely and safe manner.

The Role:

* Home delivery driver
* 30 drops per shift - household items
* Driver mate to assist in load
* Heavy lifting involved
* Checking and completing paperwork
* Ensuring load is safe and secure
* Vehicle checks

Skills required

* Ability to deal face to face with clients and handle any initial queries in a professional and courteous manner
* Able to work in a busy, fast paced delivery time critical environment
* Ability to work independently with good team player skills
* Upholding company reputation and being an ambassador of the company brand
* Good communication skills, ability to liaise with central office where required
* Be reliable and flexible with a can-do attitude

Experience:

* Driving: 1 year 7.5T or higher (preferred)
