6. Computer/IT Research skills
7. Ability to perform flexible cystoscopy independently
8. Experience of teaching clinical skills to under- graduates
9. Experience of NHS clinical governance
10. Publications in peer reviewed journals •Recent involvement in research
11. Evidence of self-directed learning / courses
Experience
Essential criteria
12. Can demonstrate successful completion of core surgical training or equivalent
13. Ability to fulfil all elements of the job description.
14. Ability to take responsibility for clinical care of patients and maintain continuity of care
15. Surgical aptitude and attention to detail
16. Ability to support and supervise more junior colleagues in clinical and procedural skills.
17. Understanding of NHS clinical governance and the individual responsibilities it implies
18. Evidence of participation in and response to Clinical Audit
19. Experience within urology at SHO or equivalent level

21. Demonstrates developing surgical logbook
