Account Executive - Integrated Marketing & Events Agency
A leading integrated creative and events agency based in Corby, renowned for their impressive work, is currently looking for an Account Executive to join the team. Becoming an integral part of the team responsible for launching the next generation of motorcycles for a well-known global brand, you will provide support to the team on product launches, photoshoots, conferences and meetings.
We place our clients at the heart of the operation, creating activities that are unique, while fulfilling business objectives. This comes from investing time in listening to, understanding and interpreting client needs before beginning the creative process.
As one of the Account Execs, you will support the Account Manager to understand the client’s business and objectives. You will work tirelessly to deliver the best events possible to showcase their brand.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working closely with the Account Managers from initial brief through to onsite delivery and post event
* Build and maintain strategic relationships with key client stakeholders at all levels
* Excellent client handling skills. Regular liaison with the client giving updates of progress on the project and managing timescales
* Creating any relevant documentation required throughout the life of the project
* Supporting with the planning and delivery of the live events (in person) which will be focused mainly in Europe
* Work-flow management, liaising with internal creatives and external suppliers where needed
* Fulfilment of Delegate Management including mailings, related correspondence and extraction of relevant data for the delivery of the event
* Source, book and manage hotel transfers
* Ensure any requests made by the client’s guests at the hotel are executed
* Monitoring and evaluating projects relative to client’s objectives and expectations ensuring they are delivered against plans, budgets and KPIs.
* Commercial awareness of the budgeting procedures: working within the agreed budget, tracking costs related to the event, negotiating pricing with suppliers where required
* Providing administrative support to the full account team, demonstrating a proactive approach to all tasks
* Support company culture wholeheartedly, championing best practice and agency values
Minimum Requirements:
* 1 years’ experience of working in events is essential. Agency experience is preferable although other event backgrounds will be considered.
* Experience working with the automotive sector advantageous, as is a passion for motorcycles
* Can demonstrate outstanding administrative and strong organisational skills
* Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
* Exceptional attention to detail
* A pro-active attitude and desire to help with any task
* Hands-on delivery experience and stakeholder interaction
* Ability to multi-task across different activities simultaneously
* Self-motivated and enthusiastic about tasks and assisting the team
* A flair for creativity and an eye for a story.
* Resilient with a sense of humour
* Can be away from home for up to 2 weeks at a time (up to 5 times a year)
* Thrive on keeping on top of many projects
* Live for administration
* Have great attention to detail
* Can show initiative
* Can hit the ground running
* Don’t have to be asked twice (or at all)
* Revel in variety
* Are a safe pair of hands
* Have at least 1 of years’ experience in Event/marketing/project management
* Can prove you’re up for a challenge
* Possess fab written and verbal skills
* Have boatloads of patience and tact
* Are confident with all types and levels of people.
