Key Responsibilities:
* Support our industrial & commercial business, Npower Business Solutions, with the forecasts for new and renewed customers.
* Develop an understanding of the impacts of weather and trends on energy demand and apply these to the daily short-term gas and power demand forecasts.
* Lead the implementation of a number of projects & improvements from our continuous improvement pipeline.
What we need from you
* Current studies in a numeric or economic based discipline
* Great communication skills and attention to detail
* Comfortable working independently to set goals and objectives
* Highly numeric individual with an interest in the energy industry
* Comfortable using spreadsheet applications like Microsoft Excel
* Experience writing SQL queries and using git repos an advantage
Here's what you need to know
* Flexible working arrangement (anything between 10 and 37 hours a week)
* Flexible contract length to fit your studies (with a minimum commitment of 2 months), with flexible start and end date
* £24,007 pro rata salary
* Hybrid working model (with a minimum of 40% in our Coventry office)
* Guidance and supervision as and when it's needed
* To learn about an ever evolving and developing industry
