Description About the Team Cancer Council SA has an outstanding reputation for funding and delivering critical cancer research, prevention and support programs as well as a track record of successful advocacy. This position enables strategic leadership by ensuring the Executive team (Chief Executive, General Managers), Board Chair and Committee Chairs receive confidential, high-level executive and administrative support, facilitating smooth operations and informed decision-making. About the Role Provide confidential, high-level executive and administrative support to the Chief Executive, General Managers, Chair of the Board and other Committee Chairs, under limited direction. Key Accountabilities include: expertly manage and coordinate the Chief Executive’s, General Manager’s and Board Chair’s (as required) calendars, optimising their schedules for maximum productivity ensure the Chief Executive is thoroughly prepared for all meetings and functions by collating necessary papers, briefing notes, and required reading materials in advance monitor and manage external and internal correspondence to the Chief Executive, including their email inbox. Respond to and action correspondence where appropriate, and highlight priority items for the Chief Executive’s attention provide comprehensive secretarial support, including preparing agendas, coordinating and distributing papers, and taking minutes for Board, Executive and other meetings as required arrange and coordinate travel bookings and itineraries for the Board Chair and Chief Executive, ensuring smooth and efficient travel plans. Coordinate travel bookings for other staff as required Skills And Experiences About You Significant experience in senior executive support roles with strong leadership skills Extensive experience handling confidential and sensitive matters High level of verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop key relationships with diverse stakeholders Strong attention to detail, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines High proficiency in software applications, including Office 365, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams Relevant qualifications in business management or a related discipline are highly desirable The role is being offered as a full time permanent role.
