MB715 Test and Inspection Electrician
Location: Lincoln
Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP38,000 + Bonus (OTE GBP45,000 TO GBP55,000) + Van + Fuel Card

First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Test and Inspection Electrician on behalf of our client based in Lincoln. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business with an excellent opportunity for career advancement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in commercial and industrial environments
* Inspect and test electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipment
* Identify and document defects, non-compliances, and potential safety hazards
* Provide clear and concise reports detailing the condition of electrical installations, including recommendations for remedial actions
* Ensure all inspections are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and regulations, including BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and best practices
* Communicate effectively with clients to explain findings, answer questions, and provide technical advice
* Ensure all inspection tools and equipment are maintained and calibrated as required
* Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to maintain and enhance technical skills
Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical inspection or a related field
* City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing
* NVQ Level 3
* 18th Edition
* In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes
* Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and software for reporting
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent, depending on location)
