You will joining a team of 10 and be one of three HGV drivers.Our drivers are responsible for moving stock (mainly civils, heavy building materials and drainage solutions) in a safe and professional manner from our branches to our customers. Loading the vehicle in the yard using the HIAB, it’ll be your responsibility to ensure the vehicle is properly loaded, safe and in-line with road and transport legislation. You will be performing local multi-drop work, returning back to the branch at least once to reload for your next run. Am I right for the job? Applicants will have a Class 2 driving license, up to date CPC records and recent driving experience. HIAB experience essential for this role. You’ll be confident in dealing with our customers, building new relationships and developing existing ones. The successful candidate will be safety focussed, ensuring work is completed in a safe and professional manner.
