Marketing, Design & Communications Specialist - Marketing Manager
Job role: to adopt a coordinated approach to the delivery and management of targeted marketing campaigns designed specifically to drive foot traffic and sales leads to our development sales teams. Working closely with the Sales Director, Regional Sales Managers and estate agency partners to support the effective delivery of the marketing strategy that delivers strong prospect database for current and future developments, including ad-hoc collateral for events. A key focus is to strengthen the Abbey New Homes brand within the local communities we are operational in.
Scope: the Sales & Marketing Department is responsible for marketing and advertising the company’s developments, ensuring at all times that a professional, corporate image is projected which promotes the Abbey New Homes brand. The key objective is to achieve sales at the appropriate rates/prices as agreed with the Managing Director and Sales Director.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Motivate and manage staff within marketing team setting targets and objectives to achieve launches and campaigns on time and within budget.
2. Coordinate the production, accuracy and content of all marketing communications including campaigns via external media and PR agencies.
3. Liaise with external agencies to ensure the prompt and accurate production of all sales literature and marketing material relevant to the development in accordance with company standards and requirements.
4. Maintain a rolling three-month plan identifying marketing campaigns for all developments, monitoring, developing and issuing marketing schedules to Sales Director and Managers.
5. Deliver a consistent brand experience across all channels, using template creative guidance.
6. Oversee Social Media platforms for the Business, ensuring all posts, stories, messages and comments, appropriately adhering to the response guidelines.
7. Oversee the Implementation of targeted email and text campaigns.
8. Review effectiveness of campaigns using standard monthly reports and online analytic tools. Use this knowledge for future marketing campaigns.
9. Identify local market trends and customer profiles, along with conducting regular market research to establish in depth knowledge of local competitors.
10. Regularly review the website ensuring all information is correct and identify and upgrades that may be required.
11. Coordinate and assist Regional Sales Managers with the planning and introduction of any required on-site sales offices, marketing suites and showhomes.
12. Support the Company’s continuous drive to improve our customer service experience by endorsing and promoting Trustpilot and Google reviews.
13. Assist in the creation of and continual management of the annual marketing budget for the business unit.
14. Complying with and uphold Company policies and procedures.
15. Contribute to improving the business and enhancing the reputation of the Company by putting forward new ideas and by implementing change when requested to do so.
16. Attend and report in project and other departmental meetings as required.
17. Undertaking any additional tasks as may reasonably be required from time to time.
18. Experience with Adobe Suite programmes such as Illustrator, InDesign and Firefly.
19. Experience with CRM systems and email marketing tools such as Mailchimp/Spotler.
20. Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
21. Strong organisational, problem solving and time management skills.
22. Must have a keen eye for detail.
23. Experience in lead nurture and sales funnels.
24. Experience in speaking directly with leads or customers and building relationships.
25. Experience in using Word Press or similar website management systems.
This contract is a one year fixed-term contract and is maternity cover.
