As they continue to expand their footprint in the exotic fruits market, they are looking for a passionate and experienced Sales Manager, Trader, or Buyer to join their dynamic team. Role Overview: They are seeking a driven and results-oriented professional with a deep understanding of exotic fruits to play a pivotal role in growing their market share and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and customers. Key Responsibilities: · Sales & Business Development: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across key global markets for exotic fruits, establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with retailers, importers, and distributors. · Product Sourcing & Procurement: Source and secure high-quality exotic fruits from growers and suppliers around the world, ensuring product quality, pricing, and supply chain efficiency. · Market Analysis & Trend Forecasting: Monitor market trends, consumer preferences, and emerging exotic fruit varieties to position the company as a leader in innovation and freshness. · Negotiation & Contract Management: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers and customers, ensuring favourable conditions for both parties. · Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with the logistics team to manage the timely delivery of fresh produce, ensuring compliance with all quality and regulatory standards. · Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving any issues that arise in a timely and effective manner. · Product Knowledge & Education: Stay up to date on the latest exotic fruit trends, varieties, and growing methods. Share your expertise with customers to help them better understand the unique qualities of the products on offer. Key Requirements: · Proven experience in sales, trading, or buying within the fresh produce industry, with a specific focus on exotic fruits. · Strong network of suppliers, growers, and customers within the international fresh produce market. · In-depth knowledge of exotic fruit varieties, global sourcing, quality standards, and supply chain management. · Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. · Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. · Strong commercial acumen and a results-driven mindset. · Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus. · Willingness to travel internationally as needed to develop supplier relationships and explore new business opportunities.
