This is a full-time, long-term position starting from 1st September 2025, continuing through the academic year until July 2026, with potential for extension. The role offers competitive hourly pay based on experience.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, typically during early mornings or after school hours (exact hours to be confirmed)
About the Role:
As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school remains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school building, including classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Cleaning classrooms, toilets, and communal areas to a high standard
Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
Replenishing cleaning materials and supplies as needed
Ensuring all equipment is used and stored safely
Following health and safety procedures and infection control guidelines
Reporting any maintenance or hygiene concerns to the Site Manager or School Business Manager
You'll be joining a friendly and supportive school team, where your role will be truly valued. Full training and induction will be provided, and the school is easily accessible with good transport links and on-site parking available.

What We're Looking For:
Previous cleaning experience (ideally in a school or similar setting)
A strong attention to detail and pride in your work
Ability to follow instructions and health & safety guidelines
Enhanced DBS Disclosure on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
