Job Description Job Advertisement: Teaching Assistant Location: SEN School Salary: Up to £95 per day Contract Type: Full-time, Mon-Fri, 08:30 - 15:30 We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at a SEN school in Melton Mowbray. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting students in their learning and development. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students across a range of subjects, providing support in both small group and one-to-one settings. Your role will be key to ensuring that students have the resources, guidance, and encouragement they need to succeed. Key Responsibilities: Assist teachers in the delivery of lessons, ensuring students are engaged and on task. Provide tailored support for students with additional learning needs. Build positive relationships with students, promoting their personal, social, and academic development. Help create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers. Support students during independent tasks, helping them to develop confidence and skills.The Ideal Candidate: Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with young people. Patient, empathetic, and approachable. Passionate about education and supporting students in their learning journey. Previous experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting, is desirable but not essential.
