Job summary Do you want to be part of an established, warm, welcoming child and family centred ward team? We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Housekeeper to join Glan Clwyd Neonatal unit. The ward has a very motivated and enthusiastic multidisciplinary team with a clear vision of providing the best possible evidence based care to the children and young people who access our services for all specialities. Your role will be to work alongside them and will be integral to the smooth running of a very busy ward. Main duties of the job The post holder will work as an integral part of the Neonatal Team. The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination of all patient facilities / services and for ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. The main element of the role is to support the ward manager in the running of the unit, together with other specified tasks to meet individual patient needs, as determined by the Ward Manager/Deputy Ward Manager or Nurse in Charge. The post holder will be required to work closely with contractors and support services departments. The post holder will monitor quality standards and rectify deficiencies in liaison with the Ward Manager. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
