Radium Security Systems, a well-respected and established leader in the security industry, is seeking a motivated IT Apprentice to join our dynamic team. With our cutting-edge security solutions delivered across the UK, we specialize in intruder alarm systems in the North-West and North Wales, and CCTV and access control services nationwide. As an IT Apprentice, youll gain hands-on experience in supporting our technical infrastructure, working alongside skilled professionals in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. In this role, youll work towards your IT Support level 3 qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. Responsibilities: As an IT Support Apprentice, you will have a wide range of responsibilities, including: Provide 1 st line technical support to customers Transfer old clients onto new systems and platforms Identify, establish and diagnose IT faults through security based software Apply appropriate testing to hardware and software alongside supporting field engineers Provide updates to customers and end users with reports, data and analysis Programming of routers, switches and servers Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team. Salary and Benefits: £13,000 - £15,000 per annum 29 days annual leave including bank holidays Monday Friday 8.30am 5pm Company Christmas parties Company pension scheme Free onsite parking Desired Skills and Knowledge: To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following skills and knowledge: Outgoing personality Good communication skills Passion for IT Ability to work independently and part of a team Knowledge of Microsoft 365 would be beneficial Grade 4/C in Maths and grade 5/C in English is mandatory Your Training with Baltic: This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualifications and experience you need to immerse yourself in an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Support technician. ?
