We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic team member with a passion for minor injuries. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Emergency Department (ED) Advanced Practice Team.
The post-holder will be expected to manage minor injury presentations for patients over the age of one year within the ED and Minor Injury Unit, delivering autonomous and expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. In addition to direct clinical management, they will provide education and support to members of the ED team.
Along with clinical expectations, successful candidates will also ensure they address the non-clinical pillars of practice, including evidence, research and development, facilitation of learning, and leadership.
If required, successful candidates will initially undertake academic study and clinical competency frameworks to underpin evidence for the clinical role.
Credentials for Band 7 Advanced ENP:
* Significant experience working within ED.
* Completion of HEI accredited clinical courses, including Independent Prescribing Qualification – V300, Clinical Examination & Advanced History Taking course, and Minor Injuries or equivalent.
* Evidence of commitment to developing others, self, and service.
Additional Credentials:
* Significant experience working within ED.
* Completion of HEI Minor Injuries or equivalent course is desirable.
* Working towards or willingness to complete Independent Prescribing Qualification – V300 and Clinical Examination & Advanced History Taking course.
* Evidence of commitment to developing others, self, and service.
