Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and challenging behaviour? We are looking for a dedicated and resilient SEN/PRU Teaching Assistant to join our team in Chesterfield.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students aged 11-16 (KS3-KS4) in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) or SEN setting, supporting their learning, engagement, and emotional well-being. You will play a vital role in helping students overcome barriers to education, providing both academic and behavioural support.
Requirements:
✅ Experience working with SEN students or young people with challenging behaviour in the UK
✅ A full UK driving licence and access to your own car (essential)
✅ Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students
✅ A proactive and patient approach to learning support
✅ A commitment to helping young people reach their full potential
