Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Current registration with NMC, HPC and or other statutory body
2. Relevant professional health degree or equivalent experience
3. MSc in Advanced Practice
4. Independent non-medical prescriber (V300)
Experience
Essential criteria
1. Substantial post-registration experience (Inc. leadership) at Band 7 or above
2. Proven experience of working as an independent practitioner
3. In-depth knowledge of recent NHS or equivalent health care legislation relevant to community services
4. Experience of teaching and mentoring staff across the multi-disciplinary team
Skills
Essential criteria
1. Able to demonstrate care which reflects evidence-based practice
2. Can demonstrate experience of acute disease management and crisis care
3. Leadership skills with ability to engage and deliver change through negotiation and partnership working
4. Ability to manage complexity and develop and sustain partnership working with both individuals and across organisations
5. Able to prioritise workload, achieving a balance between clinical and other aspects of the role
Personal Attributes
Essential criteria
1. Flexible to meet the needs of the 7-day extended hour service
2. Access to a car for business use on a daily basis
3. Ability to manage and diffuse stressful situations
