We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Ward Clerk team on Ward One at Berwick Infirmary.
The individuals should have excellent communication, customer care, organisational and interpersonal skills. They should
be able to provide a reception service, acting as the first point of contact via the telephone - face to face - for patients, visitors and other healthcare professionals.
The post holders will be required to input data regarding all admissions, transfers and discharges on Patient Administration System (PAS). Basic keyboard/computer skills and the ability to work with minimum supervision is essential.
ECDL and NVQ Customer Care would be desirable. The successful candidates must have the willingness to undertake
training for role.
The post holders must be flexible to meet the needs of the service and to cover annual leave.
