About the role:
Horsham District Council is looking for a Service Design Manager to join the customer and digital services team. You will be responsible for applying, maintaining, and promoting good service design practice across the Council. This involves assisting service areas with business process design, systems evaluation, procurement, configuration, implementation, and training of new technologies. This role will suit someone with experience of working in service design delivery in a complex technology environment and in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
As Service Design Manager you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the service design team and developing good communications strategies for ensuring that business process decisions and project progress are fully communicated and established guidelines and standards are adhered to.. This role will involve mobilising and working in cross functional teams to determine the system requirements, configuration, implementation, and stakeholder buy in are achieved, before handing the system over to the service area and colleagues in the customer and digital services team.
