Service Administrator
Location: Knighton, Powys
Salary: Up to £24,000 per annum
Summary:
My well established, National client is looking for a Service Advisor who provides excellent customer service and has a passion for doing a good job. Based at our Knighton Depot you will be responsible for acting as a single point of contact for the customer, providing relevant, accurate and timely information through each stage of the service process, ensuring customer expectations are met and exceeded.
Responsibilities:
1. Work in progress control for workshop.
2. Deal with customer needs face-to-face and over the phone with a professional and friendly approach.
3. MOT and service scheduling.
4. Updating customers with vehicle progress.
5. Clarify for the customer and workshop the basis for repair - Retail | Warranty | Contract.
6. Check account detail and level of credit left, obtain authorisation, and obtain order numbers from customers.
7. Inform customer of outstanding campaigns and arrange for work to be completed.
8. Maximise service and parts profitability using professional sales techniques.
9. Sell additional products, services and repair works in a professional manner.
10. Maximise customer awareness of all available retailer services.
11. Loading workshop schedule to maximise workshop capacity utilisation.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
1. Excellent customer service skills.
2. Proven organisational skills.
3. Proven administrative skills.
4. Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills.
5. Ability to work as a part of a team.
6. Able to work on own initiative and under pressure.
7. Good working knowledge of IT and Microsoft systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
8. Knowledge of the automotive industry and of the Autoline computer system would be desirable.
