Governance and Controls Analyst – 12-month FTC This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of Collective Investment Schemes and Tax Transparent Funds, including their products and operating models. A bit about the job: The Strategy, Integration & Governance team's primary responsibility is to oversee all aspects of breach management and corporate governance for the relevant management companies/subsidiaries. You will work closely with the 1st and 2nd line teams across the organization to facilitate accurate and efficient breach reporting for internal oversight and governance. Additionally, you will collaborate with the depositary and external suppliers to produce effective management and regulatory MI that will create the best customer outcomes. The team also conducts several investment assurance activities such as new and eligible market oversight, controls testing, test plan production, data deletion, and business monitoring. In this role, you will coordinate the receipt and sign-off of breaches and errors from all contracted parties and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational statistics related to breach management. This includes monthly depositary reporting, production of the monthly breach statistics pack, and reporting within various committees. You will also effectively manage the Class Action process from end to end, maintaining an effective relationship with all third parties to ensure the timely submission of documents should the organization wish to take part in an action. Furthermore, a strong administrative process needs to be maintained to ensure all current and past actions are monitored and tracked effectively. Skills and experience we’re looking for: Working knowledge of risk management frameworks and the application of robust and efficient controls. Experience with risk event databases. Effective knowledge of prevailing regulations within the UK and EU (e.g., COBS, COLL, CASS, MIFID, UCITS, DP). Experience in attending/managing meetings with an understanding of best practices for effective governance. Well-organized with good time management skills and an excellent eye for detail, taking pride in what you produce while prioritizing key tasks.
