We’re currently searching for a fantastic Team Leader to join us in leading our residential service / ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) service in Rochester. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!
As a Team Leader, you'll help people gain more independence in their daily lives while assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. Responsibilities include allocating shifts, booking training, inducting new colleagues, conducting supervisions and appraisals, developing and updating care plans, ordering medication, and ensuring the people we support manage their finances. You'll also manage the service in the absence of the manager.
This is an amazing role for someone looking to make a difference in the lives of others, whether that’s helping our colleagues grow in confidence or supporting the individuals we care for to gain independence and meet their goals.
We’re interested in our Team Leader having both the right experience and values. Therefore, our Team Leader should have previous experience in a similar role and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care. We require our candidates to have experience handling medication and delegating tasks among a large staff team, as well as experience working with individuals with acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviours.
