We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Team Leader to oversee a shift of 4 engineers in our factory. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our business.
The ideal candidate will be Electrically Biased, and apprentice trained with a minimum level 3 qualification. We offer an extremely healthy training budget for upskilling and continual development. This role is ideal for a seasoned Multi-skilled technician looking to take their first step into management.
Main Responsibilities:
* Drive Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of excellence within the team, encouraging collaboration and driving results.
* Manage Workload and Contractors: Oversee workloads, manage contractors, and provide support to ensure targets are met while escalating issues as needed.
* Develop Team Performance: Focus on individual team performance, providing guidance and support to achieve high standards and maintain a safe working environment.
* Reliability and Availability: Implement and lead programs aimed at improving the reliability and availability of engineering equipment in line with departmental objectives.
* Inventory Management: Accurately record team activities and maintain effective inventory management aligned with maintenance requirements.
* Process Improvement: Identify and manage process improvement initiatives, as well as plan and oversee equipment overhauls.
* Deputising: Step in to cover for other Team Leaders and deputise for the Maintenance Manager as required.
