We are currently recruiting for an ambitious and passionate At Your Service / Switchboard operator who strives to provide and inspire incredible guest service that creates truly memorable experiences for our guests.
What we are looking for:
* An individual with strong interpersonal skills and good people management ability.
* Being innovative, pro-active and reliable, able to work alone and within a team.
* Sufficient experience in a similar position.
* An ambassador who must have a passion for hospitality.
POSITION SUMMARY:
A real people person and at ease in building relationships with the hotel's high-profile guests. The position requires a self-motivator with a positive attitude and an understanding of superior guest satisfaction to ensure the hotel’s internal and external guests are looked after with the highest level of proactive guest service. The At Your Service agent will also:
* Answer, record and process all guest requests, questions, or concerns via telephone, email, chat, and mobile communication devices.
* Operate telephone switchboard, process guest requests for wake-up calls, and connect and direct calls to the appropriate extension.
* Receive, record, and relay messages accurately and in a timely manner.
* Become familiar with our systems where you will log all guest requests.
* Supply guests with information regarding property amenities, services, room features, and local areas of interest and activities.
* Assign and ensure work tasks are completed on time and that they meet appropriate quality standards.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Experience:
* Previous experience working within a Customer Service environment preferred.
Skills and Knowledge:
* Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing).
* Pro-active and reliable.
* Able to work alone and within a team.
Education or Certification:
* Good level of English essential.
