Location: This is a hybrid working role with a requirement to attend our Royal Mail Sheffield, Sheffield. S98 6HR office two to three days per week, with flexibility required in line with business needs.

About the role
* You’ll deliver robust, clear, and commercially focused legal advice on property transactions to align with business needs and legal objectives.
* Influence on transaction efficiency, risk mitigation, and cost management across Royal Mail Group's extensive property portfolio and ensure that property transaction processes are completed efficiently, promptly, and within the agreed risk profile.
* You’ll understand strategy, operational and commercial risks, and help execute property transactions in an efficient, risk-aligned manner.
* To oversee outsourced legal work, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with Royal Mail Group standards and budget requirements while proactively identifying and implementing improvements to legal processes.
About You
Qualifications and Experience:
* Legally Qualified Solicitor with a number of years of post-qualification experience in property law, ideally within a business managing a large property portfolio or in a law firm. Experience with secondment placements is desirable.
