easyJet’s award-winning Company Secretariat team plays a crucial role in our success by providing a high-quality and comprehensive governance support to the PLC Board, its committees, and the Airline Management Board. We are dedicated to maintaining high standards of corporate governance across the Group by expertly managing Board support, overseeing listed company matters such as the AGM and share registration, ensuring robust subsidiary governance, and handling certain key aspects of the Group’s share schemes.
What you'll be doing
In this key role within our small team, you'll work across all areas of company secretarial and corporate governance matters. Your responsibilities will include drafting sections of and assisting with the verification of the Annual Report, drafting AGM documentation and supporting delivery of the AGM, and ensuring subsidiary compliance, including drafting agendas, papers and minutes for operating subsidiaries, and liaising with Companies House, overseas registries and third party providers in relation to compliance requirements. You’ll manage the electronic Board paper portal and the clearance to deal process including compliance with the Share Dealing Code. Additional duties include drafting and releasing stock exchange announcements, reviewing the dividend timetable, and managing Powers of Attorney. You’ll also liaise with board members, handle expense claims, assist with budget management, and participate in corporate governance projects when needed.
Requirements of the Role
What you'll bring to the team
You'll bring experience from working in a Company Secretarial team within a listed company, ideally a FTSE 250, along with a Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland qualification or be working towards it. Your strong project management, planning, and organizational skills will enable you to work well under pressure, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. You’ll have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to liaise with and influence senior managers and directors. Your understanding of technical rules, combined with your self-motivation, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, will drive continuous improvement. Professionalism, integrity, and a flexible "can-do" approach are essential, as is the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Location & Hours of Works
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. Hybrid working with 3 days in the office.
