This is an exciting opportunity for an administrator to join our busy, friendly HR team at Abbeycroft, where we meet the HR needs of around 475 staff across 12 sites. Our team is passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive workplace and we are looking for an individual that can help us to champion our values - community, integrity, pride and teamwork.
This is a varied role where alongside another colleague, you’ll be assisting the input of our monthly payroll which includes setting up starters, processing leavers and sickness absences and variations to contracts e.g. change of hours or working patterns. You will also be involved with administrative duties around the recruitment process including clearing new starters. Plus, there will be opportunities to support the HR Manager and Advisors with project work and gain exposure to a wide range of HR scenarios.
Having an attention to detail is essential for this role, as is the ability to prioritise a busy and changing workload, but previous experience in HR is not necessary. It would be ideal if you have used iTrent but this is not essential.
The closing date is 13th March 2025 and interviews will take place during the week commencing the 17th March. We may close this earlier if an appropriate applicant applies.
All contracted staff gain free use of Abbeycroft’s health, swim, and fitness facilities, as well as Westfield Health benefits, to help support your mental and physical health. Generous annual leave, training opportunities, and on-going personal development.
As a Disability Confident Employer we encourage you to let us know If you require reasonable adjustments to any part of the recruitment/selection process. We will guarantee an interview to a candidate with a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010, if they otherwise meet the minimum selection requirements.
Abbeycroft is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
Focused on Equal Opportunities, we value diversity and inclusion in our workforce and positively encourage applications from all sections of the community. We are proud to now be registered as a Disability Confident Employer.
Please note that we are only able to reply to those who have been shortlisted. If you do not hear from us within four weeks of the closing date then regrettably your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion.
