As a Spy Engineer, you will be working in one of our designated patches in both domestic and commercial properties. Your role will include installing, maintaining, and servicing Intruder, CCTV, Access Control, and Fire Detection systems. There is an opportunity to specialise in fault, service, or installation work within a sector of our business, depending on your strengths.
We are seeking Engineers with 3-4 years or more experience. We welcome applications from candidates with experience in some or all of the following:
1. Fire detection
2. Intruder alarms
3. Access control / Door entry systems
4. IP & Analogue CCTV systems with basic networking skills
5. Dual Com monitoring
6. Knowledge of other types of communication devices
7. Conventional & Wireless Intruder Alarm Systems
8. Conventional, addressable & Wireless Fire Alarm Systems
9. Knowledge of all major brands of Panels & App-based systems
10. Maintenance of Emergency Lighting
11. Familiar with all NSI codes of practice, Installation, Commissioning, Maintenance of all above aspects.
12. Knowledge of all current industry standards, EN50131 PD6662, DD243, BS4737, BS8243
You should also have great communication skills as well as enthusiasm, self-motivation, and time-management skills. You will receive ongoing training and qualifications in order to develop your engineering skills in disciplines you may be lacking, to enhance success and progression within the business.
