This is a new and exciting mental health offer for the people of Derby City in line with the Community Mental Health Framework. You'll be working alongside experienced Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Peer Workers and Wellbeing Coaches, in a multi-agency team, who offer short term interventions. You bring: compassion, innovation, fun, a caring attitude, a desire to help people be their best selves, invaluable nursing skills and a strong sense to collaborate with people. You must hold a Mental Health professional qualification, applied knowledge & training in strategies to support individuals to manage their difficulties. We would welcome informal visits with prior arrangement to meet our team.Main duties of the job If you want an amazing and exciting challenge then come and join us and; Provide a caring and compassionate service with clear boundaries and expectations Complete initial conversations to help people plan what they need Hold a case load of people with deteriorating/fluctuating mental health problems and work alongside them to help achieve their goals
Demonstrate post registration experience with a thirst for something different Be a role model, offering mentoring and supervision to other staff and students.
