Our diverse client base ranges from mid-market to FTSE-listed groups, public sector, real estate, and financial services, working across various sectors.
At Director level, you will be proactive, curious, committed, and invested in self-development. You should be resilient, adaptable, and experienced in leading successful teams. Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and confident networking and communication with all levels in a professional services environment are essential. You should also have robust business development skills, with a proven track record of converting opportunities into projects.
Roles and responsibilities:
You will work within the team to accelerate business growth, focusing on:
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships and internal networks;
* Leading outsourced tax reporting engagements with technical excellence and efficiency;
* Managing corporate tax compliance engagements and outsourcing contracts;
* Driving efficiency through technology and process improvements;
* Providing technical advice on new legislation and ad hoc client requests;
* Offering innovative solutions to complex problems;
* Interacting confidently with senior stakeholders and peers;
* Identifying additional client services and liaising with specialists;
* Leading business development, contract negotiations, and sales;
* Supporting group/statutory tax reporting and project management on global contracts;
* Coaching team members;
* Following KPMG best practices and policies;
* Maintaining a positive, resilient, and client-focused approach;
* Networking effectively to understand client needs.
Qualifications and skills:
We welcome applications from qualified professionals and those with relevant experience, including ATT/CTA/ACA or equivalent. Tax reporting and accounting skills are highly desirable.
Deep knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation, compliance, and experience with large, complex groups;
Excellent communication skills, adaptable to various audiences;
Strong attention to detail and client service orientation;
Leadership, enthusiasm, and positive attitude under pressure;
Ability to build cooperative relationships and foster team environment;
Effective project and workload management skills;
