You will provide a high level of support delivering care to patients and their families in both the acute and community settings with a variety of renal conditions and diseases. You will be responsible for a cohort of patients alongside the Nephrologists to deliver CKD management, education and preparation for renal replacement therapies as well as conservative management. Your work will involve face to face assessments, clinics, delivery of education as well as contributing to audit and research. A car driver is essential for this role. The successful candidate will be fully supported and trained to become proficient in haemodialysis, plasmapheresis, immunoadsorption peritoneal dialysis and also looking after children with chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, nephrotic syndrome and post renal transplant. The successful candidate will be working on our haemodialysis unit providing in centre haemodialysis and work alongside the renal nurse specialists to gain the skills and expertise to work autonomously and work towards being able to provide 24 hour on call support on a rotational basis.
