Multi-drop Van Driver
Location: drivers who live within 10 miles of OX7
Link Point for collection of daily stock: Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire (using the company van to get to and from work each day)
Pay rate: £12.82/hour PAYE Adv
Full time salary: £32,000 pa
Working week: Monday to Friday and Saturday - 48 hours minimum
About The Role
Multi Drop Van Driver - 48 hours Monday to Saturday 0700 hours daily start time
Our clients service centres play a pivotal role in the success of their business and are responsible for ensuring that they deliver potentially life saving medicines to an extensive network of local customers on a twice daily basis, 20-25 drops in the morning and 15-20 drops in the afternoon. This job ensures the speedy, efficient and accurate delivery of assembled products and invoices to each and every customer.
As the daily point of contact with our clients customers, it is essential that you ensure their deliveries are accurate and report any shortages or errors promptly and ensuring all paperwork is kept up to date. It is extremely important that you maintain a safe a competent standard of driving, observing speed limits and other traffic signs and giving due regard to other road users. Not only is this important for Health and Safety reasons but you will be the face of our clients company whilst in the public eye.
Upon shortlisting for interview, we will arrange an assessment day for you which will include a Hazard Perception test, a Driver Assessment and Risk Profiling Assessment on the virtual drive system. This interview is not paid and will be in Hinckley, Leicestershire
After completing an 12 week temp to perm contract with our client your full time salary will be £32k/pa
About You
As well as a full, UK driving license (with no more than 3 minor points), you will have a smart appearance, excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive attitude to customer care. Ideally you will have previous experience as a Delivery Driver, Van Driver, Multi Drop Delivery Driver, LGV Driver or similar and live within a 10 miles radius of OX7
