Duration: full-time, 8:30 am - 3:15 pm
Are you a skilled Learning Support Assistant (LSA) with experience working with students on a one-to-one basis and a knack for supporting students with challenging behaviours? A welcoming School in Sandbach is seeking a compassionate individual to join their team starting ASAP until the Summer term in 2025.
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant OR experience working with children
* Ability to effectively support students with challenging behaviours
Role Responsibilities:
* Work closely with students on a one-to-one basis
* Implement strategies to support positive behaviour and academic progress
* Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to ensure the student's needs are met
If you possess a patient and nurturing approach, have experience working with children with behavioural challenges in a school setting, and meet the specified requirements, we encourage you to apply!
Qualifications Considered:
* NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant
* NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant
* Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
* CACHE Level 3 in Childcare & Education
* BTEC National Certificate in Childhood Studies (Nursery Nursing)
We'll also consider experienced learning support assistants (LSAs) who have previously held a job in a primary or secondary school or assisted a pupil in the role in a school but do not hold any of the above qualifications.

* Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
* Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
* Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills
