The Role
As Assistant Head, you’ll be a vital member of their leadership team, working closely with the Headteacher and Head of School to champion high-quality education and wellbeing across the Upper School Campus. Your role will involve overseeing campus operations, leading key initiatives, and nurturing their students' academic and personal growth. You will lead the Upper School Careers Programme and you’ll spearhead their College Placements and Partnerships for KS5, supporting students as they transition to further education and future careers.

What They're Looking For:
Required:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Proven leadership skills with a strong background in education settings.
* Solid knowledge of SEN and safeguarding policies and legislation.
* Strong communication and organisational abilities to inspire and motivate others.
* Flexibility and a solution based approach to problem solving.
Desirable:
* Significant experience in SEN
* Experience managing multi-site or cross-campus operations.
* Prior experience in building and managing college partnerships.
* Dedication to creating an inclusive, high-standards learning environment for neurodivergent students.
* Key Stage 4 Geography or Computing teaching experience
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic leadership to support their school’s vision.
* Drive College Placements and Partnerships, ensuring seamless transitions to further education for KS5 students.
* Promote alignment across their campuses and with college partners.
* Support campus operations, including HR, premises, and risk management.
* Champion staff wellbeing and lead professional development.
Additional Details
This full-time role operates Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Flexibility is essential, as additional hours may occasionally be required to meet the role's responsibilities and National Teacher Standards. Four weeks during school holidays are also worked to support the effective management of the school and ensure all duties are completed.
