The Role
Ecosurety is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance who has worked within a small or medium sized company, to lead and manage its finance team. Reporting to the CFO, this pivotal role involves overseeing all financial operations, ensuring robust financial planning and analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
* Provide strong leadership and support to finance team, including direct line management of two team members and oversight of a wider finance team of four.
* Lead the scoping, selection, and integration of a new finance system, with successful implementation targeted by the end of 2025.
* Develop and drive product and client profitability reporting, enabling the business to make informed, data-driven decisions.
* Collaborate closely with other teams across the organisation to align financial operations with overall business goals and enhance cross-departmental efficiencies.
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, delivering accurate and timely insights to stakeholders.
* Accountable for the management and reporting of weekly cashflow.
* Ensure the accuracy and review of monthly management accounts, providing reliable financial data to inform business performance and strategy.
* Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s objectives, ensuring sustainability and growth.
* Identify and drive process improvements, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across financial operations.
* Lead and manage the audit process, ensuring timely preparation and delivery of audit requirements and working closely with external auditors.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including accountability for all tax reporting (VAT, CT, P11Ds, PSA) and payments to HMRC.
* Liaise with external advisors, auditors, tax, and banking teams.

Suitably qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), you will bring proven leadership capabilities, technical expertise, and a strategic mindset to support the organisation’s vision and goals. Reward & Remuneration
* £80,000 to £90,000 per year
* 28 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays (3 days to be taken over Christmas shutdown)
