Governance Manager – IPO in Fintech £90,000 - £110,000 Bonus Shares London based – Hybrid working Reports to General Counsel An award-winning and market-leading fintech is recruiting its first Governance professional to manage and develop its governance frameworks, policies, and board support ahead of its IPO. This position is suited to a qualified Company Secretary with experience in listed and regulated environments looking to work for a growing fintech and assist with building its governance function as they list on the LSE. The role: Deliver first-class governance and secretariat services to the Exco board of directors and it sub-committees. Advise on all aspects of corporate governance. Ensure that a robust governance framework is in place, suitable for potential IPO/ listing. Provide proactive support to the General Counsel in setting the strategic direction of the top-co Board and its committees and ensuring that the schedule of board meetings is proactively managed. Develop, implement and maintain governance processes across the business to ensure timeous delivery of board and committee agendas, minutes and action points. Ensure that all material and information provided to board and committee members, and the agendas, minutes and action points are of a high quality. Proactively log the progress against action points and ensure that these are proactively monitored and reported. Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with the CEO, Chairman, non-executive directors and the executive leadership team.
