Job Summary:
The ICT Telecommunications Manager will oversee the management, delivery, and support of Telecommunications Systems and Services. This role ensures the design, security, availability, and continuity of these systems and provides expert advice on ICT telecommunications solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in developing and implementing the ICT strategy and work programmes.
* Lead the design, implementation, and support of Telecommunications Systems.
* Ensure the availability, capacity, and security of telecommunication services.
* Participate in local and regional ICT programmes.
* Monitor and recommend new technologies for service enhancement.
* Provide technical leadership and maintain the telecommunications infrastructure.
* Manage budgets, service contracts, and performance monitoring.
Essential Criteria:
* Degree or equivalent qualification in ICT with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
* Expertise in Enterprise IP Telephony, Contact Centre Technology, Voicemail, and Mobile Telephony.
* Leadership experience managing teams for at least 3 years.
* Knowledge of ITIL and desktop application software.
* Full driving license (waived for disability-related reasons).
Desirable Criteria:
* Prince2 Practitioner Certification.
