1. Becoming a care assistant involves supporting the most vulnerable in your community, it involves a variety of tasks.
2. Do you have a passion for supporting others in a caring and compassionate way?
3. You don't have to be a gourmet chef but you must be able to help provide nutritious meals and snacks during the day.
4. You don't have to be a qualified nurse but you must be able to assist with medication reminders, this can be an important part of your job, you will get complete training for this.
5. We don't need you to be a personal stylist but you will assist your client to select their clothes for the day after you have helped them with personal care.
6. Are you able to be observant and notice changes which need to be reported?
Can you chat and communicate with a variety of people? You will build caring, meaningful relationships with client's, their families and healthcare professionals.
Our Care assistants are always reliable, trustworthy and are excellent timekeepers. It is important to be at your client's house on time as they look forward to seeing your smiling face.
Can you support client's in remote locations at the time they need support, are you willing to go the extra mile?
Must have flexibility to support client's for early morning, evenings and every other weekend as required.
This role is UK based and the right to work in the UK will need to be established as part of the recruitment process.
Qualifications
Industry Leading Training : Our training programs have been produced to ensure you have the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to excel in your role. Introductions and shadowing before going out on your own are a must, this ensures that you have confidence in knowing what the daily routine looks like.
Care Certificate : Once you have completed your extended training you will receive an industry recognised Care Certificate. Further qualifications are available after your probationary period, we believe in investing and developing our staff, giving them the opportunity to work towards a goal and furthering your career.
Additional Information
