The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Warehouse team. Working with the wider logistics team to ensure we maintain high levels of stock accuracy in the warehouse. You will create a data suite to continually monitor and report on stock levels and accuracy, driving change and continuous improvement based on those figures. Creating and maintaining a programme of continuous inventory stock takes and audits, updating our Warehouse Management system to reflect reality. Helping to create a culture that results in loss minimisation and a focus on stock accuracy. Working directly with the Warehouse Manager your role is hands on, whilst having no direct reports you will interact constantly with the wider team to achieve your aims. Organising your own workload to achieve success and will deliver data to the management team to ensure that any identified issues are dealt with appropriately. Creating a training programme to mentor and coach other warehouse staff in the importance of stock accuracy and recording. Your success will be grounded by … Proven track record of prioritising safety in operational environments Previous experience in analysing data and justifying decisions based on it, including creating a data suite for senior management Experience of creating and implementing standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for all elements of stocktaking Demonstratable experience of quickly and efficiently handling discrepancies, including adjustments to stock, taking current company financial guidelines into account Experience of creating and implementing a stock strategy and training warehouse staff in the use of stocktaking equipment Experience co-ordinating stock transfers between departments It would also be helpful to have the following: HSE qualification (such as IOSH / NEBOSH) SAP or Similar Systems experience You’ ll benefit from Our compensation package includes a competitive salary, company bonus, holiday allowance and pension.
