As the Bookkeeper / Administrator, you will manage our clients' financial transactions and support our client's business operations. If you're experienced in Xero and Excel, highly organised, and looking for a flexible working environment, we'd love to hear from you. You will be working for a well-established Marine business based in Lymington.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Record and manage daily financial transactions
2. Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
3. Invoice customers via Xero and follow up on overdue accounts
4. Process supplier payments and maintain creditor records
5. Maintain and organise financial records and documentation
6. Assist the Director with administrative tasks as needed
7. Work closely with the company accountant
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
2. Ability to work independently and in a team
3. Level 2 & 3 AAT qualification
4. 2 years of accounting experience (preferred)
5. 5 years of bookkeeping experience (required)
6. Must be able to travel to Lymington for work
