Job summary 37.5 Hours Per Week We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Band 7 CBT Therapist to work within the Eating Disorder and ARFID pathway. You will play a key role within the service with a commitment to ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service. You will play a role within the wider MDT to ensure that Children and Young People and their families are provided with the right intervention from the right service. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team involved in the assessment, formulation and treatment of mental ill health. You will use your advanced clinical skills and knowledge to explore appropriate treatment and care options with other team members as well as the wider partner across Kirklees and Calderdale. Supervision is given and you will have access to a network of CBT therapist and you will be responsible for delivering clinical supervision to others within the service, where appropriate. Main duties of the job The candidate will work within the CAMHS Eating Disorder and ARFID teams across the Kirklees and Calderdale footprint, this is within an MDT approach. The ARFID pathway remains a developing pathway and we are developing our Eating Disorder team so that is able to be more responsive to the needs of the population. As part of the role supervision and leadership would be required with support from both the clinical lead and the team manager. The ability to work both independently to form clinical decisions and within the wider team is an important part of this role. The right candidate will share our passion for working with eating disorders and therefore access the appropriate support to meet their full potential. You would need to be able to communicate effectively with other staff within the service as well as be able to engage well with young people who may have difficulties engaging as well as their parents and carers and staff both within the neurodevelopmental team.
