We have an exciting opportunity available for an Educational Psychologist – Children in London Borough of Bexley.
What will your responsibilities be?
You will be responsible for providing psychological advice as part of the Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment processes for children and young people with special educational needs and social, emotional, and mental health needs.You will assist in the discharge of the Local Authority’s statutory duties in respect of the identification and assessment of and provision for children and young people with special educational needs and social, emotional and mental health needs.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role, you must hold a qualification in Educational Psychology and be registered with the HCPC. Additionally, you need to have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience as an Educational Psychologist. You have experience working with children and young people, including those with special educational needs and other issues commonly addressed by psychological services within the public education sector. You have successfully collaborated with other professionals to support the development of children and young people. You possess knowledge and experience with the current range of approaches, tools, and techniques available to Educational Psychologists. Additionally, you have experience in developing project plans, specifications, work plans, target setting, and performance monitoring. You are knowledgeable and experienced in working to and meeting statutory deadlines. Furthermore, you are well-versed in current legislation affecting the work of Educational Psychology.
