SUB-SPECIALTY TRAINING POST IN GYNAECOLOGICAL ONCOLOGY
Join to apply for the SUB-SPECIALTY TRAINING POST IN GYNAECOLOGICAL ONCOLOGY role at NHS Ayrshire & Arran.
Applications are invited for the above post, which offers sub-specialist training in Gynaecological Oncology, commencing in August 2025. The post is for a period of 2-3 years depending on the educational needs of the successful candidate and is based at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Applicants must hold a National Training Number (NTN) and have completed a minimum of 4 years of core training of the Specialty Registrar programme when they take up post.
2. Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months of training time prior to CCT and have a satisfactory outcome from their most recent ARCP.
3. If a suitable applicant has not completed a period of research training leading to a higher degree (MD or PhD), or at least two first author papers in peer-reviewed journals, time for research/audit will be available during the programme.
4. Applicants from out with the West of Scotland should have the agreement of their Postgraduate Dean to retain their original National Training Number (NTN) and to return to their original Deanery at the end of the training programme.
5. They must also have confirmation from their deanery they will be released to commence the programme in August 2025.
