The Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) is a Mayoral Development Corporation (MDC), established by the Mayor of London to secure the regeneration of the Old Oak Opportunity area, spanning land in three London boroughs – Ealing, Brent and Hammersmith & Fulham.
The Old Oak and Park Royal Opportunity Area is one of the most exciting and important regeneration opportunities in the UK – aiming to create an accessible, welcoming and well-connected urban district, centred around the new High Speed 2 station at Old Oak Common, with tens of thousands of new high-quality and affordable homes; good quality, well-paid jobs and shops; facilities, sustainable travel connections and public green space.
As the Mayor of London’s Development Corporation for West London, it’s the OPDC's role to work with our boroughs, residents, businesses and partners to shape and accelerate good growth in Old Oak and Park Royal.
The Finance team is responsible for managing OPDC’s budget, financial reporting and providing financial advice and support to other directorates. We are looking to recruit 2 Senior Finance Officers who are keen to work in collaboration with the Finance team.
Supporting the Chief Finance Officer, whilst working to the Head of Finance, the postholders will be expected to:
1. Work in partnership with business leaders and senior managers to achieve strategic objectives through the provision of high-quality Finance advice, direction and insight;
2. Ensure accurate financial transactions and analyse and challenge financial performance of business areas;
3. Support OPDC’s planning cycle, including the development of multi-year financial plans, budgets and quarterly forecasts;
4. Support the acquisition and management of around £250m of investments in property and subsidiaries.
You will be a qualified Accountant and a member of a professional accountancy body and have previous experience in the public or private sector gained in a similar role. This could be an opportunity for you to extend your experience in a challenging, high-profile public body.

This role is based at One West Point, North Acton (London). OPDC staff are hybrid working 3 days a week in our offices and remotely depending on their role. As part of this, you will need to split your time between home working and coming into the office.
