There is currently much Watch Buyer interest in ensuring that each Jewellery store location can satisfy every consumer enquiry and our clients expanding portfolio of watch merchandise does just that.
Job role:
This is a classic field-based Account Management challenge that requires management of carefully chosen retail stockists who are committed to win brand sales on our clients brand principals behalf. It requires a full gamut of on the road capabilities – great journey planning, best effective use of daily time and importantly is not just restricted to servicing existing business but breaking new ground to establish trading partners anew. As a privileged third-party representing marques owned globally by others, there is the responsibility to ensure that stockists comply with the holding houses best market distribution values – challenging but in today’s market place non-negotiable. Delivering ongoing retail support be it insight to periodical new range releases across to instigating and implementing merchandising best practice – the need is to advise, lead and ensure every store capitalises on all to the maxim.
Requirements:
It is anticipated that the future appointee will already be well versed in selling to Independent and Key Account status Retail Jewellers. A field sales appreciation with a leading Swiss Watch house would be advantageous. In today's market, there needs to be an awareness as to how best to strategize & map each brands development in a careful moderate manner all to ensure best continual & progressive growth. This remit does call for a talented do-all things grafter; by that we mean no regional task be it selling-in, merchandising, or store training is more or of lesser importance. There is a real need for great from-the-field communication to your peers & colleagues. It’s expected that one would be I.T agile, ever conscious of a myriad of differing trading goals & performance indices and be committed to always deliver above & beyond for the best future interests of all.
