Job Title: Head of Housing & Repairs Location: Remote (nationwide travel is occasional) Hours: 35 hours per week Salary: £70,000 Key Purpose of the Role We are seeking an exceptional leader to oversee all housing services and day to day repairs, ensuring high-quality, person-centred, and value-for-money services for supported housing. As a key member of United Response’s Leadership Team, you will contribute to shaping organisational strategy while supporting Directors and Trustees. Flexibility and a willingness to travel nationwide are essential. Essential Criteria To succeed in this role, you must have: Experience in working for a social housing provider or local authority Proven leadership of housing management services and repairs teams. Expertise in budget management for housing services. A strong track record of leading high-performing teams. Demonstrated success in managing, supporting, and driving change and continuous improvement. The ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships. Experience contributing to corporate management and business development, delivering efficient outcomes. A values-based leadership style that fosters trust, open communication, and innovation. A strong sense of integrity and probity. The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
