Main duties of the job
Are you a passionate midwife ready to take your career to new heights? We're seeking an exceptional Clinical Midwife to join our team, providing expert advice and guidance to pregnant individuals and their families.
In this rewarding role, you will work hand-in-hand with the Lead Midwife and Community Managers to develop and deliver a high-quality, safe, and effective service. Your leadership will be key as you manage a dedicated team, ensuring the optimal skill mix for top-notch care and seamless operations.
As the driving force behind our Community antenatal and postnatal clinics, you will oversee daily activities, coordinate home visits, and support our vital home birth service. Your influence will shape the experiences of families in our community, ensuring they receive personalised and compassionate care.
You'll also have direct responsibility for managing a geographical team of community midwives. This includes overseeing staff management, handling recruitment and disciplinary matters, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety protocols.
