The Brokerage function is a key part of the operational delivery of adult social care. The team supports the service by sourcing care packages, as well as dealing with invoices from care providers and financial queries to ensure that our Customers receive the required care and support they need.
The Role
The role of the Brokerage team is to provide excellent customer services to a wide range of stakeholders including customers, practitioners, health colleagues, and providers to ensure an individual’s care and support needs are met. You will provide top-level support to our services and teams. The role will be varied and will require you to have a flexible approach to the delivery of brokerage solutions. You will be responsible for liaising with Social Workers & Health Colleagues and sourcing the appropriate care for service users.
Who we are looking for:
The ideal candidate will be proactive, caring, and friendly. An NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent experience or knowledge in the relevant work area would be desirable. A working knowledge of IT applications and administrative systems and the ability to follow established procedures is essential to the role. The ideal candidate will also have some financial experience and be passionate about supporting the independence of service users in Cumberland.
